Reformer with Mat Fundamentals

For students without Mat certification, covering the Mat fundamentals required before progressing into Reformer teacher training.

Course Overview

Start with the foundation. Progress into Reformer.

For those who want to become Reformer teachers but do not yet hold a recognised Mat Pilates qualification.

At In Balance, we believe the foundations of Mat should come before Reformer. This pathway gives you the essential Mat principles, anatomy and movement understanding first, before applying them to the Reformer environment.

Our education is principles-led. You’ll learn what you’re asking the body to do and why, so you can think critically, coach effectively and make informed decisions beyond a memorised sequence.

You’ll graduate qualified to teach Reformer Pilates, with an AUSactive accredited certification that is internationally recognised through ICREPs.
